19th January 2018
On Tuesday 16th January, 14 year 10 and 11 students attended the Vivit Experience. This used a synthetic human cadaver and fresh pig tissue to teach students about human anatomy. Two sessions introduced students to the medical terminology used in hospitals and pathology labs. The whole anatomy of the human body was then explained in fascinating detail with multiple opportunities for students to handle dissected tissue. It was a unique experience and provided a rare insight into the complex machine that is the human body. Students found the whole day very thought provoking and informative.
